Ashton is the founder of Bishop Weddings and the engine the drives us forward. He was inspired to form Bishop Weddings after coordinating his own wedding and working on other weddings throughout the pandemic of 2020 and 2021.

Zachary Bishop

Owner | Officiant
Zachary is the co-founder of Bishop Weddings. He holds a master’s degree in History from Northern Illinois University. During the week he works for a local university’s campus museum as a registrar and collection’s manager, and also teaches museum studies courses. He is a published author and working on his second book.

Jill Bishop

Celebrant | Floral Designer | Assistant Coordinator
Jill’s personality is as warm and wholesome as apple pie. She is Zachary’s mother and got her start officiating weddings by marrying her son to Ashton. She loves being a part of others special days and has a flair for floral design as well. Jill is well organized and helps keep us all in top shape for everything we do.

Jackie Gillaspie

Wedding Coordinator
A Chicago suburbs native, Jackie has been coordinating wedding since 2016. In addition to being a member of the Bishop Weddings Family, she currently works as a Program Coordinator at Cantigny Park in Wheaton, IL. She loves seeing her clients at ease knowing that she’s got all of the details in hand on their special day.
